Mainstreet is a Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band tribute act founded in 2024 that is comprised of a mixture of several local southern Maryland bands to include the Copper Pennies, Franklin Square Band, Social, The Great Gig: A Pink Floyd Experience, and more. As a tribute to Bob Seger and his vast catalog, Mainstreet covers with expert dedication all of Seger’s major hits to include Turn the Page, Night Moves, and Old Time Rock and Roll, as well as, many other radio staples from recent decades, and some live deep cuts that the dedicated fan may appreciate. The band is led by Justin Allen who takes center stage as Bob Seger himself and embodies the persona of the highly regarded Seger. Justin is a well regarded local artist who has a decade plus experience as both a member of the Franklin Square Band and as a solo artist. The band also includes the expertise of Steve Robey covering the iconic saxophone leads, fills, and solos that give the Silver Bullet Band their iconic status in the classic rock pantheon. Mainstreet is complemented by a mixture of styles and experience from its eight members and looks forward to bringing the Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band tribute experience to southern Maryland in early 2025 and onward.
